Through a 900mm gate

Our smallest machine walks through a standard side gate opening. No crane, no removing a section of your house.

Your yard stays yours

Boards over lawns and paths, fences taken off and re-hung properly, garden beds protected. Access damage is not part of the deal.

Barrow-out where needed

Where even a mini can’t reach, spoil comes out by barrow and conveyor. Slower, but it gets done without wrecking anything.

Measure the gap

Blake measures the narrowest point of the access, checks for steps, slopes, overhead wires and soft ground, and picks the machine that fits.

Plan the approach

Where the machine enters, where the spoil goes, where the truck parks. Worked out before the day so nothing stalls on site.

Protect the path

Ground boards down, fence panels removed and stored, and anything fragile on the route covered or moved.

Dig it out

The excavation done properly regardless of the access — same depth, same accuracy as an open block.

Put it back

Fences re-hung, boards up, path swept, turf relaid where we lifted it. The yard is handed back the way you’d want it.

Questions

What’s the narrowest gap you can get through?
Around 900mm, which is a standard side gate. Measure the tightest point — usually a gate post or a meter box — and tell us the number when you call.
Will you damage my lawn or paving?
Not if we can help it. Boards go down over anything the machine crosses. Tracked machines spread their weight far better than a wheeled one, and any turf we lift goes back down.
Do you take fences down?
When the gap demands it, yes — and we re-hang them properly afterwards. That’s part of the job, not an extra.
What if nothing fits at all?
Then it’s barrows and a conveyor. It’s slower and it costs more in labour, but a genuinely sealed-in backyard is still workable. Blake will tell you at the quote which way it’s going.
Can you work in a unit block or strata?
Yes. We’re fully insured with public liability cover, and we’re used to working to strata access hours and keeping common areas clear.
